I cant see anything on the clocks.
Looking in the manual it does mention that when towing make sure the lever is in the N position & also MAKE SURE THE 4WD LIGHT IS OUT.
This could be a bulb gone as advised.
I will check it out tomorrow.

Dont have anything to jack it up with.
There is also no light on the dash.

Todays update. Temp gauge needle went from 3 o clock position straight up to the start of the red. Stayed there say 2 minutes and then straight back down. I noticed that the fan in front the air con rad was running for a while then stopped ?? I disconnected the plug from the temp switch at the back ...

This set up has worked perfectly without any issues.
By wiring up the alarm to the master switch on the drivers door, now when the alarm has been disabled and ALL the doors are unlocked there is not automatic lock if nobody enters the car.

Thermostat has been fitted roughly 7 days now and so far so good.

Today's update. I purchased a thermostat and will be fitted tomorrow. I gave the cooling system a good flush out with the hose pipe then I also back flushed it. Removed the old thermostat and fitted the cover and pipe back on the engine and refilled with just water. Now driving without a thermostat ...
