Re: Driving in 4WD question for a novice

I cant see anything on the clocks.
Looking in the manual it does mention that when towing make sure the lever is in the N position & also MAKE SURE THE 4WD LIGHT IS OUT.

This could be a bulb gone as advised.
I will check it out tomorrow.

I will check for a bulb.

Re: Grand vitara central locking advice.

This set up has worked perfectly without any issues.
By wiring up the alarm to the master switch on the drivers door, now when the alarm has been disabled and ALL the doors are unlocked there is not automatic lock if nobody enters the car.

Re: Fan Question

Thermostat has been fitted roughly 7 days now and so far so good.
Gauge has sat steadily at the 3 o clock position.

Cheers.
Took note of the bleed valve position in the old stat.
The old stat was marked 82 degrees

Re: Fan Question

Removed the old thermostat and fitted the cover and pipe back on the engine and refilled with just water. Now driving without a thermostat ...

Re: Fan Question

Hi,
Is the stat separate to the housing as it looks like a new housing on there.
