Today i went up the motorway and the temp gauge went from 3 o clock to 1 o clock, not gradually but straight away. Then after 30 seconds say it dropped back down to 3 o clock and there it stayed,w...

I have wired up the alarm to the power lock switch. The wires for lock/unlock are pink / green and pink / black. These were found just to the right of the throttle pedal in a white connection box. Easy to get at once lower trim panel below steering wheel removed. Now when I press my alarm button all...

Re: Fan Question

The holes do go right through.
Even so the nuts are super tight.
I was thinking of taking the part off in one go like your second photo.
I might then be able to get a better leverage on the nuts.

Re: Fan Question

I have picked up a Vicous coupling from low mileage vehicle. Looking at the posts above they mention, left hand thread on the big rusty nut. I dont think this is the same set up for mine. On the back of the coupling is the rusty nut but its attached to a flange. Looking at my existing setup it looks ...

Re: Fan Question

Ok Couple of questions. Are all petrol the same ? The left hand thread you mention would be the large faced item between the Coupling and the pulley with the 13mm nuts on ? Do you have one to sell or should I asked in the wanted section ? Once fitted I might then see a different needle position on t...

Re: Fan Question

To test: with the engine off and cold you should be able to turn the fan blades fairly easily, when the engine is hot it should be much harder to turn. Hope this helps. Update. This morning after leaving the GV since last night, the water level in the bottle was on the max fill line, like it always i...
