Re: Finding new standard (OEM) leaf springs for SJ410
I’m pretty sure Old Man Emu also used to make stock height as well as +40mm, not sure if they still do the stock height ones but might be worth checking as well.

Re: Finding new standard (OEM) leaf springs for SJ410
If they are actually genuine Maruti springs quality will be fine. The hard part is ensuring that they are actually genuine maruti. Avoid LesJöfors springs, they used to go flat really quickly. This place should be able to help. They will ship to the UK. https://www.suzuki-diely.sk/sk/suzuki Might ev...

Re: Rear Brakes
It’s probably more work to swap out drum brake set ups than it is to convert to discs. The backing plates are different so you need to press off the rear locking collar and bearing (not an easy task without damaging the bearing) swap the backing plate and press them all back on again. All the intern...

Re: 1991 Santana Samurai
Just a word of warning, those X-eng handbrakes are a nightmare to get set up right, then when you get it right it gets dirty and eats the pads in a few weeks. They also rattle horribly while you are driving along. I spent quite a few years with one fitted. I modified it loads to get it to work well,...

Re: 1991 Santana Samurai
If you intend to use front callipers on the rear would it not make sense to use the same callipers on all 4 corners so you use the same pads all round. The Aisin callipers are no better or worse than the Girling callipers and they both have their bad points. However, if you do want to use different ...

Re: Rear Brakes
Yes but there isn’t much point, Lucus/Girling brakes are fine and there would be no benefit swapping over.

Re: 1991 Santana Samurai
Good to finally see the Sj 👌 Number 6. Haven’t you already sourced a Tbox handbrake? The pics I saw are nothing out of the ordinary so It can easily be refurbed and swapped onto your tbox. They are very basic so apart from the shoes most things will just clean up and be fully serviceable. If you str...

Re: [Witty Title] '95 SJ413 rescue
Glad the bits got to you safely. That nipple from the airbox there’s a pipe that runs into a T piece to the PCV valve and across to the rocker cover. I should have one if you need it. If you end up back at the pressure regulator I think I have another I could send you another to test 😅 I’m going to ...
