Re: g13a crank in g13bb?

If there's a lot of damage to the walls, a new block might be a good idea - they're not expensive (at least, not this side of the pond). Be aware that if you get one from a FWD car, the sump and pickup pipe will be wrong, and you'll have to swap over your current ones. Otherwise your axle can hit th...

Re: g13a crank in g13bb?

Most 1.3 litre Suzukis after about 1996 have 13bb engines - are they very rare stateside? Maruti Suzuki still builds bb's in India. The G13a crank should fit, although it will slightly alter the stroke of he engine (G13a is 1325cc, G13ba/bb is 1298cc, slightly shorter stroke but the same bore). You ...

Re: Suzuki Samurai 1989

DC - it's sat and barely moved for over a year because I just cannot get out to drive it. It needs to belong to someone who can keep it in good nick, and that's not me anymore. If I keep it, it'll sit by the road and eventually rust out. It's done 400 miles in the last 18 months. Someday I'd like to...

Re: Samurai 8v or 16v

The 16v was introduced in 1995, as the G13BB. If your vehicle is pre-1995, then it's probably 8v. G13BB's are exceptionally rare in a SJ, they were mainly fitted to convertible Jimnys until 2004. Pretty sure they all say "16v" on the timing cover, but I might be wrong. What does it say on ...

This may turn out to be the best SJ build I've ever witnessed (sorry Scottie!). Keep it up, buddy!

I've wanted to do exactly this for over 10 years, but never could because of blahblahblah youdon'tneedtohearmewhinge.

So I'm loving this, because there's a little bit of living vicariously going on! Keep it up!

Re: Palo's 410 builds!!

Hi I'm new to all this. But we have had a SJ 410. For 25 years. And it's failed MOT on brake cylinders can you please let me know where you got them from. Thanks John The usual answer to this is brakes international (www.brakeparts.co.uk) but at the moment they're out of stock on 410 cylinders. Not...
