Source for front caliper banjo bolts ?

Hi all The front brake flexy pipes on our 05 GV are looking 'old' - and the metal parts are quite heavily corroded,so I might replace them - most brake parts seem available except for the banjo bolts (suzuki part number 09360 - 10026 ). I just wondered if anybody has seen these or similar banjo bolt...

Re: Our 2005 Vitara

We have now owned this little beauty for 5 years  I noticed the other day that the O/S front disc on our 05 G Vitara was not being 'swept' as fully/cleanly by the brake pads compared to the other side (plenty of pad left),we drove up to Montrose Air Station museo on saturday (sunny 8-) ) and ...

Re: Hello

Hi Steve A belated welcome to the forum. We also have a similar G Vitara (2005 3 door) and living in scotland she gets a hot clean underneath + Waxoyl every 2 years to try and slow down the demon rust. Hope you enjoying the Zuki as much as we do - we took the old girl over to the coast yesterday to ...

Re: E10 Petrol

I don't worry about it too much Scottie - we usually only do 4/5000 miles every year in the Suzi as we tend to use our Sportage for longer motorway trips etc - the Suzi gets used for fun trips to the highlands/islands/coast so the extra cost of E5 is chickenfeed compared to taxes etc to the Guvmint....

Re: E10 Petrol

I always err on the side of caution as our GV is a nice low mileage example - we only use our GV sporadically depending on weather and my OH's working hours/shift pattern. One of the potential problems with E10 is that Ethanol is hygroscopic,we live in scotland where the weather is often 'damp' LOL ...

Re: E10 Petrol

Hi Dunc We have a 2005 GV1600 and according to the handbook we can use E10. We do not actually use it on a regular basis,we normally fill up with E5 but occasionally E5 is not available in which case we would be happy to fill with E10. The reason I do not use E10 as the norm is that it is likely to ...

Re: A little summer fettling

Forgot to add that whilst under the car investigating the 'rumble' I had a quick look at the front propshaft - the u/j's on that look original and the rubber seals are very perished so I have bought another set of u/j's and will change them when I can get the GV up on mates ramp (he is still snowed ...

Re: A little summer fettling

Just to update this towards the end of the year. Back in may/june we decided to spend a couple of grand on some preventive maintenance on our 2005 G Vitara. A very low mileage car so still had original exhaust and suspension etc,I was too tied up with medical issues and my mate was snowed under with...
