Re: LJ80 Recommissioning.

Thanks for the warm welcome back guys. I did indeed buy this from Carl who had two, and this was the lesser of the two. I don't have any plans set in stone yet, but I suppose 'resto-mod' sums up my intentions quite well. If the current engine turns out to be OK I will use that for a while, but maybe...

LJ80 Recommissioning.

Im Back! I have been away from suzukis and this forum for a while now, so I wont be surprised if few people remember me. But I always remembered what a good forum this was with friendly, decent people. I've joined forums for other marques throughout the years (Porsche-morris-ect...) but never enjoye...

Samurai transfer box oil plug.

Hey guys.
Changed the oil in the transfer box the other day. Looked like it had a bit of a leak and I found that someone has striped the threads in the oil level bung hole... Does anyone know the size of the thread? Wondering if you can get a helicoil kit that big? Or any other ideas?
Cheers
Joe

Re: water in brake servo

A helpful git though:)

Mine has the spacer, I've actually shortened it an inch to clear my gti manifold. I can't remember the number of studs though, I think 2. I'm going to shorten the input rod an inch to make it fit.
