Re: GV2000 Brake Master Cylinder

Have you tried brakes international? Always worth calling them. I’ve had a look through my box of bits and I’m not 100% sure I’ve got any sorry. I have these and can’t remember what they are out of though….maybe SJ? IMG_0072.jpeg Is your master cylinder a 15/16” (says on the underside so might need ...

Re: India eBay sellers……The good, the bad and the ugly.

Thanks. Were they genuine KOYO or counterfeit? Genuine boxes have a holographic sticker, a barcode and a QR code that you can scan to authenticate them on the KOYO website. Just a word of caution but I have a suspicion that your bearings were probably counterfeit by the sound of it so they might not...

Re: India eBay sellers……The good, the bad and the ugly.

I purchased kingpins and bearing set from India. Had to get machining done to get the bearing to fit. Can you please advise who the seller was so we know to avoid please. I would be concerned about the bearing quality as well if the kingpin was poor quality. Personally I’ve never had to replace the...

Re: Power steering options

Was the set up and mount from a Jimny with an M series engine? You need a mount from a vitara G16 8v engine. It’s still not always a straight bolt on swap though as it can be tight for chassis clearance

Re: SJ413 VJX Brake Callipers

Tbh I have a feeling I never run those ones 😅 I will have a look next time I’m up the workshop. I can’t actually remember if I’ve got anything running Aisin calipers at the moment but I could look at my dads Jimny as they use the Aisin callipers.

Re: Fusebox Help

No worries.

Just a thought. I presume you have a set of ratchet crimps for non insulated terminals? If not I’d get some to make sure all your new fuse terminals are crimped on well.

Oh yeah it has hasn’t it 🤦🏼‍♂️ forgot that when I was typing the last message 😅 The flasher relays are normally too big to have the cover on with those boxes, well the ones I’ve used has been. A good upgrade while you are doing this is to set your headlights up through relays as you will have spare ...

Re: Fusebox Help

Ive hooked up a new head unit and 6x9s in my old ford KA in 2008 so i am proper savvy with the wiring side 👍😎 😅 It’s a little bit more involved in that but I’m sure you’ll be fine. However don’t trust the Spanish diagrams….. I swear they just swap the colours around for fun. I think when I did it l...
