Re: 195 80 15 tyre options?
I ran 215/75/15 on the previous Sami Scottie, worked fine (clearance etc) but on this 410 I am going for the full-on retro skinny original gear. Looking at Hankook at the mo, seen a lot of good reviews in the U.S. on them. Waiting for the powder-coated wheels back. More news soon. But it starts now ...

Re: New and without wheels
agreed sherwood - looks a real good one and a very fair price. Really hard to find straight 410s and this one looks very honest, even got original seats ;) Certainly check for rust and don't expect complete miracles but a good find I'd say. Better to get a good body and all the trim bits and sort an...

Re: 195 80 15 tyre options?
I'm down to the KL71 or Maxxis, but can't find Maxxis 195/80/15 at the mo. I suppose Maxxis do normal sizes? - 31" will never be going on my SJ !! - it's super-straight (apart from a 1.3/5 spd) and staying that way. I reckon the KLs would be great for what I want and they seem widely available....

Re: 195 80 15 tyre options?
Thanks for the knowledge. The Khumos look and sound good, found excellent reviews here http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Kumho/Road-Venture-MT-KL71.htm Seem to be around £72 each and I was planning up to £400 (all 5) so these could be the choice. Sadly not going anywhere til I get that SU44 fitted.....

Courier help
Trying to collect a roll bar from 88SJ (Solihull area) - can't find a courier will handle the size (about 1.4m x 1.1m x 12cm). Don't want to pay silly money and may have a mate's of Andy prepared to pick up and move part-way. But anyone know a courier will move an odd shaped thing??

195 80 15 tyre options?
Experience of various available please? Note the brief is mixed terrain plus some road - snow and mus, winter, but not extreme off-road only. I have a good set of wheels with Falkens on for proper road use, and want a set of wheels with winter/deep tread. I looked at various Insa but am concerned ab...

Re: Servo & SU44 no fit
Thanks Anton. Yours fits flush to bulkhead? I heard somewhere this may require moving the heater control thing? I think Andyrew has me sorted - he has a shorter one that should do it. It involves longer brake lines but Andy being handy, he is making some longer ones up for me. I owe him a holiday in...
