Re: rear disc conversion
I believe if you have the single handbrake cable they should connect up fine, but if you have the double handbrake cables from a later spanish model, muddyzook sell a connector for that One thing to bear in mind is that Rover 600 calipers are dead easy to buy new, but the mounts for the calipers are...

Re: Clutch for Samurai
If the cable tension is different you might have broken something inside the clutch.
I had something similar many years ago... I think it might have been a broken finger on the clutch cover but it was years ago so I'm not sure

Re: Steering bar ,zbar
When I've done it before, kept the steering arm centered and measured from there. There won't be adjustment to be done on the tie rod.

Re: 1600 8 valve fuel pump for su carb
Basically, leave the pump and hoses how they were standard.... lol
The small outlet for fuel overflow on the SU just needs to go to a low point on the vehicle.
Not into the return system

Re: 1600 8 valve fuel pump for su carb
Yes, the stock pump regulates the pressure for the carb. The SU uses similar fuel pressure to the stock carb, so will work fine. The facet type electric fuel pump will naturally limit its pressure. When pressure builds up inside the pump, the diaphragm will do less work and create less pressure. The...

Re: suzuki sj xenon hid kit
Did you use a h4 conversion kit? Its to do with LED's needing a 2 way alternating current rather than the sj's bulbs using single directional current and producing light from resistance You know LEDs require direct current that can only be flowing in one direction...? All diodes (I think) are one w...

Re: suzuki sj xenon hid kit
You are using just the standard wiring for them? Probably not letting enough power through the 30 year old corroded wires.
Set up a relay for the full beam at least so it gets full battery power.
Also you know aftermarket HIDs are sort of illegal in the UK?

How about "comes with free rust" ...?ScottieJ wrote:Good work
I don't believe the words "rust" and "free" can be used for any SJ unlesss it's been stored in a controlled environment for nearly its entire life there is always rust hiding somewhere
