I like going on the motorway, even getting overtaken by the lorries!
When you're behind them in the slipstream they fully drag you along behind

Re: Pro comp steering damper
They failed my SJ on the MOT cos of it...
Just looked on my old cert and it failed as:
"steering component is not secure to vehicle structure"
This just proves how unspecific the MOT is!
"yeah we don't like this guy lets fail it on as much stuff as possible"
w**kers

Re: Pro comp steering damper
Also, having it bolted from the steering to the axle without keeping the standard item should *technically* be an MOT failure... it's supposed to be attached to a non-moving part i.e. chassis My mates have gotten into a habit of cutting the vitara damper mounts off and welding them to the inside of ...

Re: hi all
Clean? Wha?
It's hardly ever clean and it's beginning to look a bit worse for wear!!!
well, mainly the very bent bullbars (waiting for a winch bumper ) and the battered wheel arch (slindon wounds)
Apart from that, and a hole in the floor, it's all good
Cheers scott

Hey Russ that pic on page 1, who was mistaken for Mook... is that the guy people think is me?
Imposter
There's a guy in Brighton with one very similar as well I think, although I've only had a good look from the back, so would need to see the rear lights to tell!

Re: rear wheel bearing?
The bearing is on the half-shaft, at the drum end of it... Once you take the shaft out, I think the easiest way is to cut the collar off with a grinder (carefully) Then you can get the bearing off... There's no bearing on the diff end of the shaft (except the side bearing that the shaft goes into in...
