They look like some beefy springs, look a lot thicker than stock springs, so could be that the spring rate is a lot higher. You also need to put some shocks back in the front, as its very dangerous on the road without them on

Went to run the engine today, to keep it all lubed up, and run it in. Started it, was still quite boggy, so decided to have a look at that, but the fuel ran out. So I decided to clean the fuel filter, and removed about a teaspoon of rust from the filter. Got petrol, filled up the tank, and it leaks ...

dent has been mostly removed from the roof, needs shrinking now, as it looks like she's bumped her head, has a massive egg on the roof.
I have just sorted out the heating in the workshop, so I can march on with it now, or so the plan is. actually getting motivated again to work on it!

jd2 model 32, lucky bastard, very nice piece of kit, but expensive as you were saying. they are the best thing on the market for manual tube bending though!

I wanted a very bright green, can't even remember why. a friend owns a auto paint shop, and we picked the brightest one and most colour stable we could find. it actually has a lot of yellow pigment in it.
