Original steel roof, it has no bracing, and no obvious places to mount any either. I was thinking of maybe welding some reinforcement hoops to the roof skin, or try heat shrinking it with a good gas torch

Sorry guys, still no photos. Finished the timber on the deck, used some macrocarpa, came up looking beautifully. Trans is all back together, and she drives in 4wd now. any cracked mounts mounts or brackets? suppose they can move when heating up. also all bolts on starter motor and gearbox mounting tight? sounds really confusing though

Hi, anyone know what size the prop flange nut is? I need to reorder these nuts, as I busted them, but I'm 18.500 km away from home, so obviously cant measure them, I think they are m20x1.5, but would like confirmation

You'll probably find there's holes rusted in the top of the chassis leg when you cut the old supports of. The supports have drain holes in the bottom, which block and rot out the support, but unfortunately often rot a hole straight down too through the chassis leg, so you'll have to plate those too
