Shrunk soft top

Post by palo123 » Wed Feb 03, 2016 8:54 pm

Hi all, after recently receiving a sj410 for free I went to roll down the rear flap and click it to the tailgate. I noticed that the holes for top were a good inch away from the clips at full stretch.
Is there a way of un shrinking a top as I don't want to buy one as it is the original with no holes?

Yeah, a hair drier, in summer they always fit well but in winter they can be a bit stiff with the cold, if you can get some heat into it and give it a bit of tugg/stretch and it will be fine,

It might be worth waiting till its a bit warmer to even try if its that far away. If its a full size roof sometimes getting someone to pull down on the rear hoop while you pull down towards the poppers is enough.
