Radio Housing

Post by border » Thu Dec 10, 2020 10:26 pm

I have the Housing in Pic, Think there is something missing from it but I can get it fixed in place.
But how do I get the Radio to sit in the Housing without flopping about or dropping out the bottom.
Anyone got any pics oftheres ?
Thanks

99% sure that the metal bracket sticking out is the bottom back of the unit.

Side with the holes in fixes to the bottom of the dash.

On the front of it it will have a rectangular radio sized hole and a cigarette socket.

A universal radio fitting kit should do, usually supplied when you buy a radio. The kind with the fold out tabs to hold it in place. Then just slide the radio in.

Yes mate the little bracket goes at bottom. The front is missing the rectangular bit, nothing at all there to hold Radio , it just flops about even with one of the universal bit with fold out tabs ,

You can get these new from india. There should be 4 tabs that stick out the top and slot into a metal bracket in the dash, looks like they have snapped off.
