Glad you got the lights sorted. Agree with Jordi on the indicators just try all, or as you’ve done try a relay

Hi Robbie,
I'll let you know if the relay does the trick. Just one question, do I need to replace the Dim Dip unit or can I just carry on without it.
Thanks again for your help, Cheers Dave

Dim dip kinda looks like a small heat sink. No idea what its purpose is but sounds like you found.

Glad your sorted bud.

Yeah, basically someone out there wanted to make some law a bit more complicated for no reason other than to justify their existence, from what I can tell. I really can't see why dip beams and/or sidelights wouldn't be sufficient to make your car visible while driving around town at twilight.

Seems the EU agreed, because a year later they squished the new law, which is why disabling that box is perfectly legal.

Hi Guys,
The new relay fixed the problem with the indicators and binning the Dim Dip unit sorted the lights (I would never have found that!!). Thanks for all your help and advice, it's much appreciated.
Cheers and best wishes, Dave
