rear disk pads

rear disk pads

i put new pads an disks all round my sj an the rears have worn down 2 metal an the fronts look new.???
ain't it meant to be the front you use the most??????
what could cause this?

are the rear pads all worn down, ie both pads on each side or is it just 1 pad per side?

both pads on one side worn.
not checked the othere side guna 2 night so ill let ya no
but looks ok.

ok just checked all 4 sets there was one pad with excessive wear.
passanger rear inner pad.
did notice that all 4 rear pads where worn wonky.

blimey they are worn! how long did it take 2 get them that low? they all seem very low and if the fronts are still ok must be something holding them on. are the dics blue'd ? would be if calipers are sticking causing over heating, if not try the load compensator may be your doing most of your braking on the rears. hope this helps.

i changed them all six months ago the frunts look new an the backs are as you see them.
there is no blueing off the disk.
i think the hangers are sitting wonky an the pads are not sitting right.
wearing them unevenly fast.

how have you done your rear disk conversion, from the way the pads are worn it almost looks like the callipers are not sitting square to the disks?
