G16a motor crank seals

Post by marve114 » Fri Aug 09, 2019 10:51 pm

Evening

Bought a motor discovered it needs the cranks seals

Back ones the worst but might as well nip them both in the butt !!

Shall I spend the money on the genuine seals or will pattern seals off eBay do the job ??

Any info or links would be greatly appropriated

Pretty sure I got genuine when I did mine and they weren't that expensive. Rather do it properly and not have to worry for a while rather than fit crappy seals and have to do it again in a few hundred miles.

100% genuine for sure. Why do all that work for a crap seal to fail? Worth the extra few quid mate.
