I ran a 9000lb winch on my 413 with no mods at all. Not sure if the alts are the same or not. Maybe a second battery to cope with it?

What winch do you plan on using? I thought about running a winch (I have a 9000lb Ramsey sitting around waiting for me to get around to it) with one of these as it's got as much capacity as 3 standard batteries, but at less cost (and probably less bulk) than 3 batteries.

My battery is in the back though, so it's really easy to run a biiiig battery for me.

The 90A transit alt Anton linked to shouldn't be that hard to make fit.
