Th SJ is back!

Post by ScottieJ » Wed Aug 23, 2017 3:16 pm

I hope this is real, looks like they've modernised the old SJ styling a bit, I'm not convinced about the front end yet, will have to wait and see when the first shots come out without the camo covering but it looks like they are keeping front and rear live axles

That looks good! Shame they still have the old style arches that will attract the tin worm! :S: :S:

I completely disagree, I like the fact they've put a modern twist on the old SJ body styling, with subtle throwbacks to various other older models in that styling.

They grill is a bit LJ ish, the body shape looks like an sj tin top, arches and trim are a cross between jimny and vitara, the window line on the doors is similar to the old vitara etc.

If you look at the Kei Cars variant for Japan, they do look pretty similar!
