Yep - definitely important to be have good greenlaning manners. Been on a few of the lanes up here in sunny (mostly wet) Cumbria, where I'm happy to say we have a great relationship with all the users - hikers/walkers tend to look on in amazement at a little Jimny following a couple of defenders up a mountainous greenlane :-) where there is a local high profile off roading business (so its expected) - which is kinda good and works in my favour.

Anyhow.... thought I'd share this link http://www.lakedistrict.gov.uk/visiting ... reen_roads which details a few of the greenlanes up here in case any of you guys fancy a trip to the lakes, it also has some codes of conduct which was good for me as a newbie to the 4x4 world.

Cheers,
Andrew.
