Had this a little while ago but had to give it up as it was starting to weather a little being outside and our circumstances changed to need a long journey capable vehicle.

That's right Tom, ex-Devon (about 5 years I think), formerly Colchester for quite a few years. Kent now :)
I saw pics of the red tintop, and saw the KJA in the flesh. Dealing with the seller was absolutely insane - if anyone is planning to go and view I have some advice for you. Just ask.

Although it isn't standard, it's a lot more standard than some, the majority of the mods I've made are reversible, the lift kit is a bolt on item, the transfer box is low ratio (but I have the original) the wheels are 15" like stock and keeping the standard bumpers is a conscious decision. I like the standard looks of SJ's and wanted to keep that, but I wanted to put my own twist on it, if I ever get bored with it I should be able to switch it back to standard pretty easily,
Definitely my favourite one :doublethumbs:

That,s nice.
I just bought a set of tyres from Japan that have a 16 Inc tyres ( as far as I know the original is 15 Inc) . Do you have any idea if yours are 16? Because the rim looks like the set I bought.

Thank-you!

Mine are the stock 15" pressed steel wheels fitted to the commercial vans in the UK, although I do prefer the look of the early Japanese market 16" skinny wheels and tyres that you can see on YouTube etc......

I like your wheels a lot as well. I am keen to see these 16" skinny ones you mention - any pics or a link??
On my soft top I like the 15s with the triangle cut-outs but yours look really good on the van.

I think most of us would like a really clean, straight, original SJ if we could find one at a good price. That van is very nice indeed :-)

Nice, and with the skinnier wheels fitted you don't need those arch extensions either, the look of which I also prefer.
