1992 Vitara JLX with 32k miles

Post by sgeach » Tue May 14, 2019 10:19 am

Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and looking for your views on what to do with a 1992 Vitara JLX with about 32k miles only. Been in my family since new, but currently SORN and has not moved from the garage for a few years (flat battery) so will need work to get going again. Is there a market for a car like this or should I head straight for a scrap dealer?

Thanks!

Keep it, get it on the road
Sid James gone but never forgotten

:welcome2:

Get it running. Or sell it to someone who will. Vitaras aren't really a classic yet like SJ's and LJ's, but they're getting there. Definitely worth saving.

Thanks for the replies! I agree its worth saving but that won't happen with me - is there a For Sale board on this site? I couldn't see one

I'm new to the gathering and searching for your perspectives on how to manage a 1992 Vitara JLX with about 32k miles as it were. Been in my family since new, yet presently SORN and has not moved from the carport for a couple of years (level battery) so will require work to get moving once more. Is there a business opportunity for a vehicle like this or would it be advisable for me to set out directly toward a piece seller?
