New and very proud owner of 1987 SJ413!

Post by Cookadoodledo » Fri Nov 27, 2020 9:16 am

Hi all,

Found the site to be brilliant so far and will be asking for plenty of advice as I'm a mechanic noob but desperate to learn.

Planning on refurbing my lovely SJ413. Runs fine apart from a grinding when it's in 5th which someone said might be due to a loose bearing in the gearbox?

Also can anyone advise on how to post pics in here? Would love to show you all the new toy

I'm on my phone and get the text saying "img/img" or thereabouts but I'm unsure what to put between the two bits of text?

:welcome:

I use an app on my phone called lit photo. I just resize them to 640 x 480 or something like that and then add then using the attachment tool at the bottom of the post. Works ok for me!

Be good to see some photos of your SJ when you've figured out the photo situation.

On my phone (Android) it comes up with a Post a reply, after you've clicked that you should have an option to add attachments. If you click on that your phone should give you options of what files on your phone you want to post. You can then place it inline and can even preview it make sure it's gone on ok.

Like Larry mentions theres a lot of decent photo apps as well that let you cusomise the size of your images. Handy if you want an avatar pic on the forum
