Long story short..
Project VW camper is still in progress, the previous owners had filled, pop riveted, screwed and glued the bottom 12 inches of the bus on using any scrap metal to hand, including the side of a kitchen cooker :er: . I have had to replace everything including some of the chassis, the entire front panel and every panel inside and out of the rear end, the sills, outriggers and jacking points, three out of four wheel arches, the list goes on and.. There not easy to work on like an SJ.
£2000 on panels so far. But it is starting to look like a camper again and it's solid.

Still working on it I hear you cry, I only get one free day a week due to work and with training for a new job as well I always seem to be busy.

The SJ.. I haven't done a lot to it, it's been in storage for two years and to be honest I should think about ebaying it as with two projects I think I might of bitten off more than I can chew. Just not enough time. I still have the rockwatt rocklobster transfer box in the shed, not even fitted it yet

The zx12r failed it's MOT because of an led rear light that has the indicators in it as well, fine last year but illegal this year, simple fix but by the time I'd done it the battery had had it. I think it might also end up on ebay after the retest as I'm not using it like I used to.

Sorry long story, not so short.. Next post I'll try not to write a book :D
