Hello from Norfolk

Post by combatkenz » Tue May 30, 2017 6:47 pm

Hello all,

Firstly what a great site! It seems you have most things covered here.

I'm new to the Suzuki world and will be picking up my samurai sport soon....... Although I can't see much sportiness about it . My first impressions were how simple the little thing is which is great because I should be able to do most maintenance tasks myself.
I see most people are using them off road and they look very capable. I will be using mine daily and for weekends when I run my combat sniper experience days. Getting to my site isn't really car friendly so it should be perfect.

Theirs some things that need sorting on it like fitting the radio, I'm not massively convinced on the wiring so I may get a garage to do that. Probably a full service, cambelt and probably other stuff when look through the site .

Hello & welcome from Norfolk! Haha, this is the one that was in Kings Lynn wasn't it? I was very tempted to swap it for my samurai as I've always us wanted a gloss black one but haven't got the time for a full strip down respray jobbie, good to see she's gone to someone to be used instead of broken :D

Thanks, yeah it's that one. I have to say driving one of these is very unique! It reminds me of a Land rover defender but with slightly more poke. I find the steering very vague, is that common?
