Hi guys new on here . Just picked up a wee vitara for the wife and hoping to pinch a shot to go shooting sometimes . It's a 98 soft top with a fibreglass hard top for the winter . Image

It seems to have a mix n match engine it's a g16a but the distributor cap and rotor arm are listed for a g16b and plug leads are g16a is that right ??

A lot of the a and b parts are interchangable, what's the code on the side of the block?

A lot of G13 parts are interchangable too - there's quite a few G16b blocks out there with twin cam G13b heads on them out of a Swift GTI...

Not sure I'd worry about it if the vehicle runs ok.
