Just picked an 2.0td XL7 today, 73k on the clock and completely bog standard. The plan is a small lift and some offroad wheels on it when I get a bit of time off work and a trip to the Isle Of Wight out of the way!

Hello and :welcome: to SCUK!

What sort of tyres are you thinking? Some AT's or something more aggressive?

I would think that a set of 33" mud terrains on that would look awesome, and it'd be a bit of a weapon offroad. It's a big zuk, though, so be careful you don't overdo the tyre size without looking at changing the gearing to compensate.

Cheers timwilks13, looking for some AT's on some steel wheels gonna keep the standard wheels and tyres for commuting. Mostly gonna be used for taking things to and from partners horse paddock but planning some light offroad once I've done a few mods.

Hi Anton she is a big car but fairly easy to drive only used her on gravel tracks and fields so far though! Never done any serious offroad before so gonna get a bit of work done so I can venture off the beaten track and take it steady (Well that's the plan lol!)

Welcome to SCUK. As with all Suzuki cars i have owned, all generally mechanically bullet proof.

I remember having a ride in a demo one year at the long forgotten Suzuki endorsed rhino rally.

Not sure what the modified parts availability is for them but sure it’ll be a capable motor for some light off roading.

Cheers Jordi I've been looking on the web and Ebay finding parts to fit, like you say it will only be light offroad nothing too heavy. Upgrading the suspension and wheels is the 1st thing on my list
