Reviving a playmate

Post by Erk » Mon Oct 05, 2020 7:43 pm

Hello all

After taking a few years away from off-roading to do boring normal stuff, I'm finally getting back to a position where I can revive my old Jimny.
The poor old girl has been stood waiting for 5 years, so is in a right state.

These are photos from the last time we got to go out and play.

IIRC mods include, 4" suspension lift, castor corrected HD radius arms, sj transfer box with 4.16 reduction gearset. 31" tyres, composite front body panels, swift m13vvt engine, Eaton m45 supercharger, DTA s60 ECU, and all sorts of other odds and sods.

The plan is to get her back on/off the road and ready to compete, I think it is going to be a long and expensive road, but the amount of times that old girl refused to kill me (see above) I owe her another shot.

more detail to follow when i get her back here.

Oh, that's a nice little Jimny!

Welcome to the club, Toby. All the best with your resto. Lots of pics, please!
