Jimny Rock Lobster

Post by Corshamjimny » Sun Dec 26, 2021 5:32 pm

Hi, First post here. I have had my Jimny for just over a year and it wants another transfer box. I am not very technical and would like a rock lobster box made by someone else. I am able to fit a completed one myself. I read that one member got one at the Off Road show at Great Billings but they did not say where they got it from. Very keen for a good steer to get one. Standard one did not even last 1 year.

You’ll want a lobster box made from a SJ / samurai box and the required adaptors to fit it.

I think RockWatt (find him on facebook) still does the boxes. Not sure about fitting kits. Maybe bigjimny or jimnybits.

Hope that helps.

Yeah Rockwatt still does rock lobster transfer boxes and fitting kits.

Are you in Corsham, Wiltshire? If so there’s a lot of us very local to you.
