Any thoughts or observations you wish to share on this LJ80 on eBay at the moment?

Tho' not over modded, still been mucked around with, homemade panels, rear bumper etc.

So rare now I guess this is about the best MOT'd nearly stock RHD example you'll find these days.

Tintops are very rare so any tintop is a cool tintop :rockin:

However there's a lot of panels that aren't original.

wings, arches, rear crossmember/bumper, rear 1/4 panels and sides, front panel etc have all been repaired and made from scratch.

for comparison

Yup, that's what I meant Scottie, apart from the surface mount lenses, all those sharp edges are a giveaway.

Looks like it could be a bit grim underneath too.

Sorry I think I missed a bit of your post and didn't read the last paragraphs.

As for that being the best you'll find in the U.K....not at all there are a few mint and stock Lj80 tin tops about, not many though

Hopefully one day the right one will pop up when I have space for a resto, I have a complete van side panel waiting (if we don't use it on the soft top)

I meant the best tintop example that's for sale in the UK, at the moment :D

I have funds set aside for a stock'ish LJ TT, but getting this one how I'd want it could be a nightmare to work on later.

Do you take commisions Scottie? ;)

Yeah the hard part is finding any good lj for sale.....I would seriously look into importing one if you really want one, will be much easier to find a decent one.

I'm not doing any more builds for anyone until the Lj80 and Lwb are finished I'm afraid. I've spent the last 5 years building vehicles for other people and it's time my projects took priority otherwise they will never get done :hahaha:
