JB33 front Differential Pinion ring gear swap bolt on.

hello,

Any idea what fits my JB33W Front Differential swap bolt on.` what suzuki unit thats fits bolt on to my front differential 3rd member i already tested a JA22W front 3rd member but it doesnt fit the 3rd member is big enought i need a 5.37 gear set to fit my JB33W front a suzuki 3rd member. please help..

Suzuki Jimny JB33W for the small one its from JB33W and the bigger one its for JA22W all coil spring thanks

I've just looked up the model numbers as we don't use those in the UK. The larger one is a Samurai/SJ413 diff for everyone else. The smaller one is a Jinmy front.

As far as I'm aware the only easy ring and pinion swap for a JB33W (Jimny) is to use the ring and pinion from an automatic model but they are only a little bit lower ratio than the standard ones.

Out of intrest what ratio is the JA22WW? The ring gear looks thick so it must be low.

may JB33W ratiio is 4.09 and the JA22W is 5.27 thanks

I guess you are from a part of the world with small engines. These ratios are the lowest I've seen for those two vehicles.

Over here the JA has 3.9 lowest and the JB is 4.3 lowest (auto)

We use ring and pinions from Vitaras in our JAs but they won't fit the JB as the case is smaller and it has a high pinion mounting position.
