Transfer Box Leak

Post by zook123 » Mon Mar 28, 2016 8:34 pm

Right, got a small leak of Transfer Box oil coming out around the rear prop mount to the box, from what I can see I will be able to do it on the Truck, but, the kit comes with three seals, so that would be the front, rear and the little one at the top, if it's leaking from one, is it worth doing all, or just the ones I need?

Also, i've got quite a bit of movement on the bushes, so i might replace them, is it simple to drop the box down and out?

Yeah well simple, think it takes about half hour on mine, I have to drop the guard as well. Undo props, remove gear nob then the three bots on the mounts. Same as doing an SJ
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good
