POTM - May Theme - 1 Hour Left

Post by dan_2k_uk » Tue May 07, 2013 6:17 pm

Sorry about the late announcement.

Been on callout at work then was in Amsterdam for 3 days on a stag do. (which caused me to spend today in bed!)

May's theme is to be Effects/Adjusted. (Entrys by the 20th so still 2 weekends)

Basically have some fun either using effects while taking the photo or afterwards with PC software, built in stuff on phones/cameras, or instagram etc.

Hopefully this will help as we are a bit short on time so if people just want to start playing with images they already have then go for it.

No need to supply proof of workings out :D

I see some pretty amazing photos floating around the net with phone effects on them which I cant replicate in gimp so I would say that makes it a pretty level playing field between the DSLR and PC software people and the people with a phone and a few free apps. :snap:

I'll be honest I don't know how to use photoshop or Gimp so I got my mum to do my edits....... she's a dab hand at photoshop, she did me x2 pictures but I don't know which to submit, one would make a better calender picture but I think the other will get more votes. I'll send the one i think will get the most votes and save the other picture for when the category is 'more than 1 suzuki'

The rain on sunday has delayed my photo taking. Hope we get a dry evening this week or I will be frantic on Sunday eve to edit!

Pfft. I just kept hitting 'random' in snap seed till one that wasn't complete crap turned up. 30 seconds work. I am genius. All kneel before me.

Based on my last 3 hours of practice using GIMP, RawTherapee, and QTPFS that will probably do the trick. My brain hurts and I'm no closer to my goal :hahaha:
