All Quiet
So, it's all quiet at the moment,
let's kick some life back into things, what's going on in people's lives? I don't care if it's Suzuki related or not, tell me what's happening!
It's been steady away for me, I spent last week at the east Coast with the family staying in a static caravan, it was a good holiday except for the
But in fairness that would happen regardless.....
When we were walking one day we found a nice 4x4,
It had some good sized tyres
Then now I'm back, I bought another RC car as I'm a bit of a sucker for retro things,
It's ok but looked rubbish on top of the fridge,
So I knocked a couple of stands up to position them better, I used a camera ball head mount with some 1/4unc nuts and bolts and tada,
So that's me for now, my current priorities are:- continue wiring the garage up using SWA cable - the old wiring was appalling and continue making some brackets for the plastic sill covers on my SJ I've made one but have no steel left of the right gauge, plus I want to borrow the guillotine at work to make some appropriately sized strips, the steels a little thick for my tin snips,

Re: All Quiet
Over the last week I've started painting the outside of the house, a lot of render needs repairing so I won't be getting too far with that. I went to a car show today at Wroughton but it was a bit of a non-event so I went laning around Barbary Castle instead.

Re: All Quiet
Just gone holiday, drove my Jimny from Suffolk to Scotland. Shame there's a lack of greenlanes up here, but should be a good holiday

Re: All Quiet
Was just going out detecting for the day as the crops have just come off and the top radiator has gone, what a bummer, had to abort and come back home.Trying to locate a top house is not as easy as i had though as most motor outlets dont carry Vitara hoses.

Re: All Quiet
What a stroke of luck, phoned around all the main Suzuki dealer and other main car spares retailer and non in stock, but my local SAM centre can get one in for 12.00 and for under a tenner, bet the local Suzuki dealer would of doubled the price and what annoyed me was they said they get most of the spares they use from the same place but put massive mark up on it as well.RickUK wrote:Was just going out detecting for the day as the crops have just come off and the top radiator has gone, what a bummer, had to abort and come back home.Trying to locate a top house is not as easy as i had though as most motor outlets dont carry Vitara hoses.
Top radiator hose is on and truck is back in action again, and had change out of £8,you could say i am well pleased, must admit it was not a genuine Suzuki hose,a general universal right angle one and had to cut 2'' from each side, total job time 17minutes.
