Vitara MK1 Central Locking ECU Location

Hi, I am fitting central locking to a JX soft top model that had manual locking. I have most of what I need but have a question please. Could someone tell me where the central locking ECU is located? I assume that the JX model would not be supplied with one, even though the dash loom can accommodate the electrics for the windows and locks (same loom as the JLX). So if someone could tell me where it should be I can figure out if I have one, and if not where to fit one.

It should be up under the dash on the far right hand side, part number 38700-xxxxx
