I use one of the cheapy plastic jobbies that are
Universal. But last time i just done it by eye which

I hate the bloody plastic universal ones!!!
I had one and it ended up going really flexible and didnt really hold it in place

Really easy to do by eye if the gearbox is out and you can look directly into the center of the clutch
Used the metal universal tools before that slot together and they work quite well

The best options though are the input shaft from an old gearbox, or a proper tool. You can get them from one of the yank suzuki sites.

I've had a bit of a clutch year, done 4, 2 Fiestas, a Focus and a Xantia. I've got a "proper" tool which comes with various adapters and sleeves but none of them seemed to be the right size for what I've had to do this year so ended up doing them all by eye. Seemed to work just as well as it did in the past with the tool.

Universal jobbie from machine mart. Worked fine.
