taking the zuke off the road for a while!

Post by ScottieJ » Wed Aug 27, 2008 12:23 pm

well i'm moving to bath at the end of the month and my tax and insurance runs out too! why does everything happen at once  But on the plus side, my new pad has a nice big double garage so i'm gonna get Mr Angry (the angle grinder) out and have a bit of fun with the zuke. Thinking about chopping out the arches and modifying the bulkhead to try and squeeze some 33s on  without lifting the zuke any higher! as well as that i've got an SU carb to fit, an engine rebuild as my piston rings and valve stem oil seals are on the way out and some sammy axles to fit, hopefully with some vit R&Ps!

Well Scottie, seems that you'll be busy !!!
Fitted your wheel spindle on Carlos at the week end. Great.
Now in the middle of axial diff oil changing, motor oil changing, new sparks, air and oil filters. Hopefully should pass the MOT next week.
See your new modified Zook soon and good luck with the grinder !!
Cheers,
