Re: Project Bodge
Call me weird (hence the name) but I kinda like that finish...It's different, and it looks kinda rugged.
There's three ways of doing things:
The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

Re: Project Bodge
Thats lookin, tidy now. Not sure I agree with scottie on the roller thing like, I'm defo a spray gun kinda person. I was planning on doing some more on mine at the weekend but I've been spammed. Firstly to go to Holland then, no, no no. Wakefield. Not quite as exciting but it's work.
It's the filling and sanding that kills me, not sure how 'perfect' a finish your going for but i filled a bit, sanded a bit, filled a bit more, sanded again then decided i couldn't bothered to go for a perfect finish as i'm only going to add more dents and scratches to it later on. It's more for a waterproofing than looks for me. It's not hideous but I could've done better. As i'm now using it for work too I get so much done then realise time is running out and have to make it roadworthy again.
Keep up the good work.

Re: Project Bodge
The way i see it is that if your truck is used offroad, there is no point having a good finish as the second you take it down an overgrown byway it'll get scratched like hell! and you can actually get a respectable finish from a roller if you are careful. If i can just touch it up in 2 seconds with a paintbrush or roller and and it will match the rest of it; it just makes life that little bit easier.
Re: Project Bodge
