Yeah Sherwood it is a B reg. My shifter sheet was green nylon but it had a black rubber ring glued to the bottom, it was also very flexible. I tried to upload a photo but couldn't remember how to.

I got the transfer box out yesterday but couldn't get the big nut undone to disconnect the handbrake cable. Its on the bench now so first job next saturday is to persuade the nut to release and then I'll ship the box to RockWatt for an upgrade.
