Re: the no dosh LJ revamp
The stickers arrived today from Procomp, very kind of them to do that. I see the postage was $1.15, about 80p. So how come some Ebay sellers in the US charge over $20 to send exactly the same size envelope then? Gits...

Re: the no dosh LJ revamp
More problems. Been using the LJ for the last 2 months with no issues at all. Tonight I parked in the garage, badly. So went to start her again and 'click'. But this is a different click. It's bloody loud and when I turn the key the volt meter goes from 12 to 0 almost instantly. On the drive home I did spot the volts dropping a lot when I braked, from 14.5 to maybe 12. Any ideas? Alternator maybe?

Re: the no dosh LJ revamp
Bought home a long wheel spindle and tapped the starter solenoid. She started right away. So is this the culprit? I looked on ebay and they are available seperately, maybe I need to try that?

Re: the no dosh LJ revamp
Any chance of a close up photo of the centre console so as to see what's under the dash there, where the light is ?
Couldn't quite see it on page 40.
Why couldn't you keep the stereo in the stock location, mount the CB underneath & do a drop panel for the all your switches ? So everything is at arms reach (cos the LJ is so wide)

I'll get you a pic if I remember but under the light is the heater. I say 'heater'....

I thought the same thing Robbie! Looks like it was found in a dusty corner of a shed and nailed on lol.
So, the starting issues....she's fine. Runs as normal though I am carrying that wheel spindle if she needs a tap again. Twiss said check the wiring and I will...again. To be honest I think the entire car needs rewiring but that is way beyond my skills and too expensive to farm out so for now I'll live with it!
