Post by Suzuki Dave » Tue Oct 10, 2017 4:42 pm

Hi Guys,
Should I wax oil the underneath of the SJ, I know preparation is the key, so if I try and clean off all dirt as much as possible any other tips ? and where's best to get it and do I need any equipment to put it on ?

Personally I won't put waxoil anywhere near a car of mine. It's nasty messy stuff and holds moisture in as well as it keeps it out.

on an off roader all the mud just sticks to it and it gets washed off in deep water.

Much better to clean any rust up back to bare metal, etch prime and then use a good underseal like Upol gravitex.

Thanks Scottie,
i'll Google Upol Gravitex then .
Just googled that, theres a kit with two 1ltr bottles and a gun for air connection for £25 included on Amazon.
