Petrol leak

Post by donkeychomp » Thu Mar 29, 2018 10:40 pm

Had this for a while now. It's no the hoses or the tank but the fuel cap. Fuel is coming out of the key slot! Is there some kind of surge going on? It's doing my head in :hahaha:

Thats weird, how is fuel getting all the way to the fuel cap? Is there a breather hose or something on it and your tank is getting pressurised somehow?

Is it / Or could it just be the anti syphon devise has been removed, And is now allowing the fuel to slosh up the filler neck and find the
only available exit ?

I don't see how the fuel could go that high really. I'm going to change all the hoses and get a different cap. Will call Pebly Beach or Suzuki UK to see if a genuine one is available.
