Vitara Crank Position Sensor

Post by Geordie » Sat Apr 04, 2020 10:40 pm

Hi. My 2004 / 2005 2.0HDI Vitara cut out when driving at 50mph.
Its showing codes PO134 Crank Position Sensor, P0087 Fuel rail low pressure, P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor Malfunction also P113 whatever that is.
When I crank the engine over with the fuel connections to the injectors loosened right back, only a very small amount of diesel comes out , it certainly isnt spraying out.
The low pressure supply from the tank to the filter is OK and the filter is clean.
I can't find the Crank Position Sensor. Is it the one on the back of the engine, about 8" down ? It's a green plastic unit with Brown/white and Violet/black wires.
It isn't bolted on, how do I remove it ?
Thanks for any help.
