The rear drive flanges are now m10 try and stop them coming undone.
Done a bit more prep for the decider trophy this weekend should be good fun.

So the time has come for diff ratio change also going for an air locker in the front to give that another try.

Re: Mikes lwb build and repairs !
So I have multiple lockers I can try as I’ve built them up over the years. I got a pair of arb and pair of hf China 4x4 lockers, a trail gear mini spool and lots of auto lockrite lockers all in various states of repair.
Same with ratios I have a fair few some I have pairs of diffs and others I have 3/4 sets of the same ratio.
So I’m trying to work out what to try, 5.38 is my current ratio auto locker rear open diff in the front
I only use low range so I might just go to 3.9
I’ve got 5.125, 4.3, 3.7 if I need to try them at a later date.

Ahh I thought you where still running lockright front and back.
Least you have plenty to choose from, I've been thinking of saving up for a air locker. What did you think of the Chinese one? I used to run a welded up front with the locking hubs and to be honest I miss it

To be honest mate I chop and change what I do quite often as I’m always pulling the shafts out to inspect them
Like the quality with most things in life now I think that the proper air lockers quality has diminished over recent years the ones I have are about four years old and are almost identical to the Chinese ones the only thing I would say is the finishing maybe isn’t quite as good.
But in terms of value for money they are obviously very appealing to a lot of people
I only run one in the rear for a short time a few years back but I blew a shaft and it ate the diff.
I now have another pair which I am going to probably try out the locker in the front and then probably the mini spool in the rear axle
I now run 27 spline shaft so that means that any locker I fit in I have to have wire eroded to the correct spline design
