Oh wow yeah that is close! I’m used to yotas being ran on 16s so guess I’ve never ran into that problem

I did buy some 16s aswell in the hope they would clear it but they actually touch. Seems there's loads of different Toyota arms/knuckles that were fitted to different models. Bit of a nightmare to find out information on them and any for sale

Yeah that’s pretty interesting! I’ve got 6shooter knuckles and arms for the buggy build so hopefully I won’t have clearance issues.

What a busy :suzuki: day it's been for me.
Finally got my gearbox and transfer box back. Dropped them off over a month ago to be rebuilt, after MOT the gearbox developed quite a bad leak and I had a rebuild kit for the transfer box so thought while I'm there might aswell have some fresh drivetrain.
Both the blue sj and green SJ are moving under their own steam.
Now to get some mileage under the green one and make sure there's no more teething problems

It's definitely worth it, had a drive yesterday and it drives so well now.
Even had a play about fitting the new tyres. The new tyres are actually an inch taller but it's hard to tell on that front pic because of the 12.5s on the drivers side :suzuki:

First proper bit of use, went to jeepfest and I can safely say wow what a motor. Performed faultlessly and showed up many more serious offroaders. Only real downside was I having far too much fun and didn't take any pictures! Weather was banging, the BM towed the SJ faultlessly and the roof tent was the best hotel in sight.

These badak Xtreme tyres are very very good, mud, clay, stone, grass gripped better than my mates treps. Fronts were aired down to 9 psi and rears 6 psi, no issues

Links to a couple of videos, as usual videos don't do it any justice how steep the bankings were.
