Not sure if this is any use but jimny has a 1.6 from a baleno and as far as I can tell no change was made to the electrics
Sid James gone but never forgotten
Jimny 1.6 not as good as an SJ but still good

Least you've got the clearance to drop it abit. And shouldn't be a problem to a man of your calibre.

A meet would be nice to....
Yeah I think that’s the plan 👌

It’s been a while since we’ve done a meet, I’ll have a look at some potential sites for a weekend meet as that would be good!

Did you swap the Jimny inlet onto the g16b with the 1.6 injectors? My issue is that none of the electrics on the Jimny inlet are compatible with the GV loom and ecu 👎 I could use the Jimny inlet by using a Jimny ecu and loom but that’s more cost and I’ll have to rewire it again 😅

I’d imagine it’s running on the Jimny loom and ecu.

I’ve been slowly getting on with this in between other jobs and moving house but progress is progress.

Lots of little jobs done but not pictured.

Knocked up some lower mounts for a vit rad, mounted in the same way I did it on blue (not welded on yet)

Also I’ve decided to lower the engine and to do this I’ve had some bits cnc laser cut, I’m planning on fabricating stock style mounts but I’m making a jig so I can fab mounts with with various engine height changes.

I also have some other bits cut for making bush style engine mounts for Blue and other future builds as well.
I’m happy to sell kits or even make up engine mount kits for people if there would be any interest in them?

Also have a few other products in the pipeline that might be of interest for those of you that off-road your SJs.

Some nicely cut plates. Would these mounts purely be for the gv 1.6?

The engine plates will fit all G13 and G16 engines 👍 that’s the reason the hole is ovaled on the OS plate. NS bolt pattern is the same on both.

I'd be interested in some bush style ones, especially if could be reused if ever put in a g16
