Airbag warning light

Hi, my 2016 vitara has decided it likes the airbag/seat tensioner light on the dashboard to stay on:) Before paying a dealership to take a look, are there any basic things I can try first? Could it simply be a blown fuse, or a sensor tripping? It’s a great car which I’ve had for three years and this is the first thing to go wrong. Thanks in advance for any advice
