picked up my samurai front end from the shot blasting company, went in and...... its still here!!

never seen a front end like this before....

just that little lip to repair other than that all goodly.

i am very surprised it made it throught taht my mates who blast said they where really going for it too!!

few pics from todays work, just mocked it all up to see if all still fitted.

need to crack on with it now, taken too long now!!

still need to rub some of it down, and repaint the inner wings, next step will be to take it all of again, finish the primer work and paint it. put it back together and then drive it!!

got some work done today!!


put the axles under the chasis, make it roll!!

then popped to body on,

then tried to make the bumper fit!!!

and bolted the winch on!!!

hello,

last night i decided i was going to cut this bumper up.

but got out to the garage and i am now having second thoughts!!!

i popped the cage on and it looks terrible......

really dont know what to do now, doesnt look like a hope it would do, i am thinking that i will need to cut a lot more of teh winch bumper off to make it suit:

fixed it!!!

i like the way taht this looks,

very happy!!!

i cut teh bullbar bit off, and then managed to get the cage to move back a little more, then i used cable ties to hold on the outrigga bits,

IS THERE ANYTHING CABLE TIES DONT DO!!!

sorry its all a bit random!!!

i have now taken it apart again, and sanded the body, it is being painted next wednesday i hope!!!

the engine is in the machine shop being sorted, all i got to do is hope the colour suits it!!

Nice build mate! Going to be real smart when painted! What Colour are you doing it? Going to be s shame to get it dirty after all that hard work!

That is an awesome modification / resoration proj. I was thinking bout shot blasting mine but was too scared it wouldn't come back.

Looking at your repairs your a bit, errrrr....... Better at certain aspects than me. The repairs look spot on.

What engine is it / will it be running?

Keep up the superb build
