Nice to see my SJ on the home page. I plan to take it on a repeat tour of France next summer (fingers crossed) but the poor old front seats are showing their age and springs ! Bouncing around 2000 miles of Fench roads I'm gonna need some comfort. Any recommendations for (simple to fit) replacement front seats. I have heard that Suzuki Swift ones fit - True ? Any ideas on best place to get them ? Any personal experiences welcome. Thanks.

Re: Replacement seats for SJ413
I went to see an SJ413 when i was shopping around which had leather electrically adjusted seats from a Vauxhall Carlton - looked quite posh!
Just a thought...

Hiya Alanl,
Yer the swift seats do fit,and are more comfy, the passenger seat is very simple to swop over with the sj seat mounting, but the drivers seat you have to do i little bit of work, but is easy.
I done this a while ago,but i went back to my original seats, reason why was the swift seat sat abit higher up that the sj seat and i didnt feel comfortable driving around like that.
I would offer you the swift seats i got, but as im in Ireland, thats abit of a problem.

Re: Replacement seats for SJ413
I fitted some from a metro sri ! They fitted lovely but involved the use of a welder grinder and some fresh fabricated rails to make them fit but it was easy .
and cost me 28 quid including the rails

Suzuki Swift seats fit with almost no modification. The whole job should take about an hour
You can go fast, I can go ANYWHERE
Re: Replacement seats for SJ413
I have just fitted some vauxhall astra GSI seats in my 410, will have to say they R awsome.... the seat bottom welds dead in line with the suzuki runners, takes about 35mins to install, so nice to have headrests as the 410's original ones didn't... neck breakers...lol , ps had to swap drivers seat with passengers because the seat position wheel was to tight to the body.will post a pic soon folks.
If it's not broken i will probably break it!!

got my seats for £50 from a guy srapping a anus wrangler
man theyre so comfy! beats the sj seats hands down, and bucket seats? well lets just say im never gonna touch those again, my back wouldnt appreciate the pounding (especially when couples with leaf springs!) D:
they take a bit of fabrication to get them in there, but theyre worth it
