Hi, thanks for the welcome. the SJ is in fantastic condition for a 28 year old.
there are still jobs i need to do, the last owner spent loads having the breaks
serviced and the seat belts welded.

i will fit a new Exhaust as the last one is half missing and up grade to poly bushes,

was think of using these? http://www.bits4vits.co.uk/store/samura ... d_149.html

then rub down the rust on the body panels and the bumpers and respray.
any ideas on the correct colour?

but before all this I will waxoyl the chassis.

a nice per of free wheel hubs would be good to make it in to an every day vehicle.
will keep an eye out!

You can get free wheeling hubs for about £50 a set sometimes :)

bits for vits do new free wheel hubs too, although they are closer to the £150 mark. nice SJ though, a real beauty! as for the standard colour, some did come in that green, on the vin plate (in the drivers foot well) there will be a number, some of the digits will tell you what colour it originally was ( I'd have thought Darrell on here will have the list)

Hey fella. Sorry I took so long to greet you. WOW that's a VERY tidy truck you've got! Great find! Hope you enjoy it! :D

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.
